Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person medical coverage for patients on the 20-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit.

  • Conduct history and physical examinations for new admissions.
  • Complete discharge evaluations and documentation.
  • Perform inpatient rehabilitation consults as needed.
  • Review and assess outside referrals for potential admission via the electronic medical record.
  • Manage acute and chronic medical conditions during the rehabilitation stay.
  • Ensure timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.

Schedule

  • PRN weekend role
