Position Overview:The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of imaging procedures, including CT and X-Rays, at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
Essential Job Functions:- Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist the physicians, nurses and other technical and administrative staff in meeting the needs of individual patients throughout the facility.
- Operate and maintain all imaging department equipment including but not limited to X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS
- Perform all imaging exams in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws and ensure the physician on duty is notified of the results
- Perform basic clinical procedures under the direction of the physician and/or nurse on duty
- Maintain all required documentation, logs, charts, forms and records in paper and electronic formats
- Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as COLA and CLIA regulations
- Maintain an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables to perform quality testing
- Perform all routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks following established protocol for all imaging equipment
- Perform Quality Control as established by this laboratory
- Perform Proficiency Testing and/or Split Sample analysis periodically as established by this facility
- Retain records of all analytic activities performed for a minimum of two years
- Perform all Quality Assessment activities assigned to this position and document these activities for periodic review by the Laboratory Supervisor and/or the Laboratory Director
- Perform duties as ER Technician as needed
- Maintain an adequate supply of all reagents and consumables to perform quality testing
- Perform all routine daily, weekly, monthly, and periodic maintenance and function checks following established protocol for all imaging equipment
- Travel to all facility locations as required
- Attend staff meetings or other company sponsored or mandated meetings as required

- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology, required
- Associate’s degree in Radiology, preferred
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing required
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography required
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography, preferred, with the following exceptions
- CT certification required (Las Vegas Market)
- CT certification required within 12 months of hire (Pennsylvania market)
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association, required
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience, preferred
- 1+ years of CT experience, preferred
- 1+ years of emergency room experience, preferred
- Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment, manufacturer’s hardware/software and PACS

A Program Specialist, working with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities, is the primary advocate for each individual assigned and will ensure that all medical concerns are addressed. The PS develops, supervises and coordinates each Individual Support Plan (ISP) for the individuals assigned, completes assessments, identifies strengths, needs, likes, interests and preferences, as well as the dislikes, for each individual. The Program Specialist This is a salaried, exempt position.
Contributions:
- Secures all necessary services to ensure all individuals’ needs are being met as specified in the individuals’ ISP.
- Completes / ensures all necessary documentation associated with the Individual Support Plans, Quarterly Reviews, ISP revisions and ISP process (I. E. invitations to meetings, development and implementation of the ISP, completing reviews, updating and revisions, accuracy of reports [to include dates and signatures] and reporting content discrepancy of the ISP to SC, as applicable, and team members) meet all State licensing requirements including 33b 1-19 regarding plan lead.
- Supervises, monitors, evaluates and/or makes recommendations to the SC to revise a service or outcome in the ISP that is provided to the individual.
- Reports a change related to the individual’s needs to the SC, as applicable, and plan team members
- Ensures all content are included in the ISP, (protocol for social, emotional, environmental plan, protocol for restrictive procedures plans, etc.)
- Provides assessment to the SC or plan lead at least 30 days prior to the ISP meeting.
- Reviews the ISP with the individual and coordinate the services provided to meet State licensing requirements
- Provides the documentation of the ISP review to the SC, as applicable, and plan team members to meet State licensing requirements
- Informs plan team members of the option to decline the ISP review document to meet State licensing requirements
- Monitors house funds and money relating to an individual’s needs
- Monitors Individual’s progress monthly through direct observation, reviewing, signing and dating monthly documentation of an individual’s participation and progress toward outcomes.
- Coordinates the training of DSP’s in the content of health and safety needs relevant to each individual
- Developing and implementing provider services to meet State licensing requirements (relating to provider services)
- Must be fluent on all assigned Individual’s ISP’s.
- Provides ongoing training to assigned staff relevant to each individual on the following areas: ISP and reviews, specific therapeutic needs, health and safety needs, medication needs, diet orders, and specific house needs etc.
- Exhibits a professional attitude at all times when representing the individual and the facility and maintain an excellent working relationship with all staff and peers.
- Schedules and attends (as needed) medical appointments, monitor medical follow-up appointment and ensure implementation of medical care.
- Maintains medication administration certification and maintain practicum observer certification by completing observations and monitoring staff/documentation relating to the medication process. Performs MAR reviews and medication checks.
- Provides face to face ISP training to Program Coordinators and DSP’s.
- Acts as Certified Investigator on an on-call basis when necessary.
- Perform other related duties upon request

Requirements:

Minimum Experience and Training: Program Specialist must have specialized training or one year’s experience in treating or working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and must possess one of the following:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college and one year’s experience working directly with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities;
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college and two years’ experience working directly with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Associate’s Degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college and four years’ experience working directly with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Must complete all required clearances and maintain a valid Driver’s License.

The Plasma Center Medical Support Specialist EMT - P is responsible for delivering safe and efficient quality nursing care to patients. About the role:

You will determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, management of donor adverse events, review of laboratory test results, and donor notification of unsuitable test results. The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) works under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. The Medical Support Specialist will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment. The Medical Support Specialist follows guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs and provides center level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).
How you will contribute
- You will determine donor eligibility; to include, proper management of informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
- You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
- You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
- You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
- You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
- You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.
What you bring to Takeda:
- High school diploma or equivalent to including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
- Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: EMT-Paramedic
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
- Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy
- Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist

You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and will perform as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations.

About the role:
Every day, the donors you meet will motivate you. The high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. Here, a commitment to customer service and quality is expected. You will determine donor eligibility to donate plasma, management of donor adverse events, review of laboratory test results, and donor notification of unsuitable test results. The Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) works under the guidance of the Center Manager (or Assistant Manager as applicable) for operational guidance and under the management of the Center Physician for medical issues. The Medical Support Specialist will be familiar with regulations of the plasma collection industry or a manufacturing environment. The Medical Support Specialist follows guidance provided by BioLife Medical Affairs and provides center level support of environmental, health and safety (EHS).
How you will contribute
- You will determine donor eligibility; to include, proper management of informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion, medical history interview and acceptance requirements, physical examination, blood testing, and reviewing Serological Protein Electrophoresis (SPE).
- You will evaluate donor reaction(s), which occurs at the facility as outlined in the SOPs. Follow applicable SOPs for medical emergencies including the development of Center Physician's standing orders and donor transport to emergency care facilities.
- You will refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs (as applicable) when in need of providing unacceptable findings to donors, or guidance concerning medical or technical issues, including donor safety and eligibility.
- You will support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
- You will manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required by occupational health/ER. Refer to EHS guidance regarding employee incidents.
- You can be a Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations associated with pandemic threats within the local community as indicated by EHS or Medical Affairs.
What you bring to Takeda:
- High school diploma or equivalent to including graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements
- Currently licensed or certified in the state where responsibilities will be assigned: EMT-Paramedic
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
- Fulfill state requirements (in state of licensure) for basic IV therapy
- Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
- Two years in a clinical or hospital setting

$23.85 - $32.79
The estimated hourly wage range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual hourly wage offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual hourly wage offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others.
