Qualifications:

Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED. Valid Driver's License with good driving record.

Ability to work effectively with clients and aid them in adjusting to their specific problems-Basic knowledge of drug and alcohol addiction-Ability to read, write and communicate effectively-Ability to establish and maintain working relations with staff and other agencies, and the public-Knowledge of particular skill area such as vehicle care and maintenance-Knowledge of general area and ability to use GPS systems-Ability to work various shifts-Ability to work independently

Your responsibilities in this role may include:

1. Work is performed in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures, but employees are expected to exercise significant initiative and independent judgment in discharging duties. Transport clients to appointments in agency vehicles, pick up prospective clients and transport clients among agency sites. Coordinate regular maintenance of agency vehicle with Supervisor, including oil changes, inspections, and other maintenance. Arrange for repair of body damage to agency vehicles. Ensure the inside cleanliness of the vehicle using cleaning supplies before each pickup and after each drop off of our clients. Ensure that vehicle equipment including dispatching hardware and software are functioning properly. Work with facility staff to ensure that transportation needs are being met. Perform written inspection of vehicles on a routine basis as determined by your supervisor. Work with Risk Management Department and your Supervisor to report all accidents or incidents involving vehicles in your region. Treat all clients and staff with dignity and respect. When not engaged in client driving responsibilities, this individual will assist with routine duties around the facility as needed and at the direction of the Division Director.

Pay Rate: Rate Per Bulk Ton. Approximate 1st year earnings are $85,000-$95,000+/year.

Riverside Construction Materials, a progressive, integrated manufacturer and supplier of construction building materials, is seeking a Class 'A' CDL Driver to deliver dry bulk material. Our Drivers deliver locally and are home every night. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of cement to our internal and external customers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Position Essential Functions Responsibilities

• As a driver/operator you will operate a tank truck in the timely transportation of cement powder to and from destinations.
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT guidelines; document and request required repairs as needed.
• Driving in and out of areas with heavy pedestrian and equipment traffic.
• Read and understand delivery tickets and clearly communicate with the dispatch department via radio and tablet regarding all deliveries.
• Maintain delivery, truck and driving records in accordance with company policies, as well as federal and state regulations.
• Load, unload and secure cement powder as needed.
• Maintains good vehicle appearance and internal cleanliness.
• As part of the job description, there are times when the drivers are asked to do some sweeping, shoveling and general labor.
• Maintains the highest standard of quality and safety in all aspects of the job.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL-A License. No endorsements are required but the CDL cannot have an "L" Airbrake restriction or "K" Intrastate restriction.
• TWIC card is preferred but not required.
• At least 3 months experience commercially driving a manual/stick shift transmission required.
• Able to work a Monday through Saturday schedule.
• Must be comfortable with heights.
