Are you an aspiring Rockette? We want to see all of that! Come prepared to learn a high-energy dance combination. Please plan to dress professionally, in a way that allows for movement. Please also bring at least 2 types of shoes.

Improvisational & Character Actors + Show Hosts: Be over the top and confident! You will be provided with audition sides to read from upon check in. We do not expect you to memorize this, but we do want to see you try new things and make BOLD choices when reading for us. You may also be asked to improvise during the audition. The Supervisor of Ride Operations is responsible for ensuring that the Ride Operations Department maintains a professional atmosphere and ensures the standards of safety and guest service are being upheld by direct and indirect reports. Makes regular field visits to monitor employee performance and policy compliance and resolving various operational issues.

• Ensures the safety of our guests and employees by ensuring that all employees are operating according to the policies and procedures outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures manual; directs employee actions during emergencysituations and resolves operational concerns.
• Supervises daily work performance of Ride Operators; provides coaching and counseling regarding performance and disciplinary situations; provides credible input into discipline, promotion, demotion and terminationdecisions; prepares and conducts job performance evaluations for direct and indirect reports.

About the position

As a Production Technician with Carowinds Live Entertainment Department, you will play a vital role in the creation and execution of our brand new shows, attractions, and events. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your previous experience in an amusement park setting, where you will work on crews responsible for building, setting up, operating, and tearing down live shows and events. Your primary responsibilities will include reading, understanding, and implementing plans and blueprints, as well as translating designer concepts into functional builds for shows and events. You will be expected to assemble and install structures, equipment, and infrastructure with minimal supervision, ensuring that all projects meet the high standards of quality and safety expected at Carowinds. In this role, proficiency with hand and power tools is essential, as you will operate a variety of equipment, including golf carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, construction equipment, and motor vehicles. Assists with the maintenance and installation of all the HVAC needs in the Parks. Performs services of diagnosing, trouble-shooting and installing air conditioning and heating systems, air supply and return plenums with duct board, and flex ducting. Performs most kinds of HVAC required in the park: seeks guidance on most complex HVAC work. Works well with customers and able to explain issues that may arise.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Proficient in most aspects of HVAC function. Good verbal communication skills, ability to explain complex HVAC issues with customers in a way they understand. Good judgment, decision making and problem solving skills.

Education:

High school graduate or equivalent. Vocational training preferred.

License or Certification:

Valid driver's license. Gas Fitter 1 license required in applicable states. CFC recovery certification required in applicable states. Canada: Trade license or equivalent depending on trade.

Experience:

Typically requires 2-4 years of HVAC experience. Refrigeration experience preferred.

Equivalency:

Directly related experience or a combination of directly related education and experience and/or competencies may be considered in place of the above requirements.

• The Grounds Attendants are responsible for upkeep and cleaning of outdoor public areas in Camp Wilderness.
• Responsible for the overall cleanliness of public restrooms facilities. Components include (but not limited to) sinks, toilets, urinals, showers, counters, floors, windows, and walls.
• Responsible for daily cleaning of charcoal grills, as well as proper disposal of coal and ash.
• Responsible for picking up and disposing trash, foliage, pet waste, and other litter throughout the facility.
• Responsible for daily changing and replacement of trash cans throughout assigned property and operates trash compactor.
• Ensures guest walkways and sidewalks are clear of debris, foliage, mulch, and dirt.
• Ensures the overall cleanliness of guest coin operated laundry facilities as well as washer and dryer equipment.
• Responsible for cleaning and de-cobwebing of wayfinding signs, fences/gates, and building structures.
