Patient Load: Manage an average of 1-5 patients per shift, ensuring individualized and attentive care.
Department Overview: Work in a facility with 5 labor beds, 8 postpartum beds, and 4 triage beds, facilitating a focused approach to obstetric care.
Assigned Patient Rounding: Conduct rounds on assigned patients, providing assessments and care as needed.
Requirements: Board Certification: Candidates must be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Licensing: Must possess an active Ohio medical license or be licensed under the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC).
Certifications: BLS certification is required.
Other advanced life support certifications (e.g., ACLS, ATLS) are not mandatory for this role.
EMR System: Familiarity with HMS Med Host and CPOE systems is preferred.
Credentialing Timeframe: Temporary privileges are available, allowing for a streamlined credentialing process.
