The Emergency Department Tech performs a variety of RN delegated tasks under the supervision of a registered nurse.
He/she assists the nursing staff in providing patient care in accordance with training, competence and skill.

The Trauma Registrar Senior will be responsible for assistance in maintaining the CHRISTUS Health Care System's Trauma Registry in compliance with all requirements of the Department of State Health Services, as outlined in the State Trauma Rules.
The Trauma Registry is critical to the development and maintenance of an effective performance improvement program for trauma.
The Trauma Registry also provides data needed for research and epidemiological studies.

Provides clerical, statistical and informational support to the Trauma Service.
Maintains a database to allow for easy retrieval of trauma statistics.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide outpatient follow-up care for established urology patients
Manage post-operative visits , monitor recovery, and address complications or concerns
Conduct routine assessments for chronic urologic conditions
Order and interpret labs, imaging, and urinalysis
Participate in in-office procedures as appropriate
Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and long-term management of urologic conditions
Collaborate closely with supervising physicians, nurses, and clinical support staff
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system
QualificationsCurrent Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
Prior experience in urology, internal medicine, or a surgical subspecialty preferred
