The Diagnostic Imaging Tech I demonstrates knowledge and sense of responsibility in the daily operations of the radiology department. They operate a variety of x-ray equipment to perform routine radiographs in all Radiology areas, including Orthopedic Clinic, Fluoroscopic and Operating Room procedures and the use of the c-arm, according to established practices under the direction of a Radiologist, Supervisor, and Lead Technologists. May be required to work a variety of shifts, at multiple campuses, weekends, holidays, and take call on a rotational basis.

EDUCATION:

Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT. ARRT certified and licensed with the State of Vermont.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our Nuclear Medicine Technologist:

Performs both clinical and research nuclear medicine testing and therapeutic procedures including general studies, cardiac studies, and the computer interactions associated with these studies.

Performs clinical instruction for nuclear medicine students and other personnel as needed.

Contributes to the development of policies, procedures, standards and objectives, and quality assurance needs for the provision of Nuclear Medicine services.

EDUCATION:

Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine.

Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.

Licensed by either the ARRT or CNMT in the State of Vermont.

This position requires verification of your college transcript. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview.

EXPERIENCE:
Twelve months of clinical experience in Nuclear Medicine is preferred. That said, we'd love to hear from new graduates or Nuclear Medicine Techs who are new to the field.

SCHEDULE:

Monday - Friday 9am-530pm, no weekends except call coverage

Is required to take rotating call coverage, including evenings, weekends and holidays. More details - Call will be every 12 days. It will be 24 hours if it falls on a weekend (example - 7a Saturday through 7a Sunday) OR 14 hours if it falls on a weeknight (5p-7a). You will receive call pay for carrying a pager and overtime and shift differentials if called in.
