IntePros is currently looking for a Financial Project Administrator to join one of our growing environmental consulting clients in Greenwood Village, CO. The Project Administrator will provide administrative and accounting support to our growing South Region and interacts directly with clients billing and accounting staff, as well as with clients, vendors, and subcontractors, as needed. The selected candidate must be flexible and able to deal with a variety of requests, adapt to changing workloads and priorities and possess extremely strong organizational skills.
Project Administrator Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret contract provisions and set up accurate project information in the accounting database in accordance with contract terms and Company policies, including, but not limited to:
- Contractual elements provided on project initiation forms: contract value, budget level, scope of services, fee types, payment terms and proper authorization.
- Verify and/or edit project rate schedules and demographic data provided by Project Managers.
- Ensure appropriate mark-ups, tax components and invoice masks are in-line with contract provisions.
- Within established deadlines, initiate billing cycle by generating and distributing prebill reports, facilitate edits per the Project Manager’s direction and finalize invoice with all required attachments and documentation. Submit invoices to corporate accounting for posting and to client as instructed by Project Manager.
- Assess project revenue by accurately identifying variances and making necessary budget changes; enter percent complete as instructed by Project Manager or designated employee; and complete all tasks in accordance with monthly accounting closing schedule.
- Advises Project Managers on financial aspects of contracts, factors to be negotiated with clients and assist with client cost proposals.
- Adjust annual overhead multipliers on governmental or Cost Plus Fixed Fee projects.
- Prepare financial, cost analysis or additional management reports for Project Managers, other managers, or Principals
- Mentor and train junior Project Administrators.
- May supervise administrative or support staff:
- Assist in recruiting and hiring support staff;
- Manage workflow, assignment and production of support staff;
- Evaluate performance of support staff;
- Develop and execute formal and informal training programs for support staff.
- Investigate and address problems related to project contracts, data discrepancies, and client billing issues.
- Track accounts receivable and accounts payable as needed for project processing.
- Review and submit employee expense reports in a timely manner to facilitate payment and processing. Understand the expense reporting process and perform required unit pricing data entry in addition to any necessary corrections.
- Perform electronic timesheet administration procedures and understand the timesheet flow as it relates to labor, class codes and project billing.
- Generate established systems reports, as required.
- Assist with other office administrative functions as needed, such as filing, sorting mail, word processing, assisting with travel arrangements and office meeting set-ups.
- Assist with local business errands as needed.
Project Administrator Qualifications:
- This position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of nine (9) years of progressively responsible experience in project administration and invoicing, preferably for a professional services firm, an associate degree and seven (7) years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and five (5) years of experience (preferred). (required)
- Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions, contracts and subcontract agreements, correspondence and memoranda; and ability to effectively write moderately complex correspondence and memoranda. (required)
- Knowledge of job costing, contract file administration and comprehension of project revenue. (required)

Key Responsibilities
1. SOW Development & Lifecycle Management

- Draft, review, and negotiate SOW agreements including pricing models and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure all SOW engagements comply with procurement policies, legal standards, and client guidelines.
- Manage SOW workflows within Vendor Management Systems (VMS) such as SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, Coupa, or Ariba.
- Oversee amendments, change orders, and extensions.
- Drive standardization and best practices across SOW processes.
2. Supplier & Project Governance
- Act as primary liaison between hiring managers and service providers.
- Monitor supplier performance using KPIs and scorecards.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Identify and mitigate delivery risks.
- Ensure accountability and adherence to contractual commitments.
- Support supplier onboarding and performance optimization initiatives.
3. Financial Oversight & Spend Management
- Validate milestone completion prior to payment approval.
- Audit invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Analyze rate structures and benchmark against market standards.
- Identify cost optimization opportunities and negotiate savings.
- Track total program spend against budgets and forecasts.
- Provide reporting and insights to stakeholders.
4. Operational Compliance & Risk Mitigation
- Support onboarding and offboarding of service provider personnel.
- Ensure appropriate worker classification to mitigate co-employment risks.
- Monitor compliance with tenure and regulatory requirements (as applicable).
- Provide training and guidance to stakeholders on SOW governance and VMS tools.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years in MSP, VMS operations, procurement, or services procurement with strong exposure to SOW-based engagements.
- VMS Expertise: Hands-on experience with tools such as SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, Coupa, or Ariba.
- Contract & Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated experience negotiating pricing and SOW terms.
- Analytical Skills: Strong Excel proficiency and ability to analyze spend data and generate performance insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Role Description

Responsibilities

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their team! This position is located in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Duties:
- Lead WiFi firmware defect triage and deep log analysis across router and modem platforms
- Investigate and resolve CPE quality and reliability incidents impacting WiFi performance
- Develop detailed RCAs for firmware-related defects and customer-impacting issues
- Support firmware readiness for major launches such as: WiFi 7, 6GHz enablement, new CPE platforms and DOCSIS 4.0 initiatives
- Collaborate with CPE vendors to reproduce issues, validate fixes, and ensure quality delivery
- Perform end-to-end troubleshooting across WiFi routers, DOCSIS CMs, CMTS/iCMTS infrastructure
- Review and validate cable modem configuration files as part of defect isolation
- Build and maintain network testing labs for firmware validation such as: switches, PDUs, modems and ONUs
- Utilize Linux jump boxes for debugging, scripting, and secure remote access
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Linux systems (Bash, SSH key authentication)
- Python, Perl, Shell scripting
- SQL
- REST APIs
- Network lab buildout and validation
- Cable modem configuration files
- Strong telecom or broadband engineering background
- Deep hands-on experience with WiFi firmware troubleshooting and log analysis
- Experience working with CPE router and modem platforms
- Solid understanding of DOCSIS (CM, CMTS, iCMTS) in support of WiFi operations
- Experience leading firmware-related RCA investigations
- Vendor collaboration experience for firmware defect remediation

The approximate pay range for this position starting at $115,000 - $140,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
