The Physician Advisor will form a collaborative partnership with local and corporate administration, the medical staff, and the case management department leadership. This partnership will provide a comprehensive clinical resource management program that includes utilization management, progression of care management, social work services, and complex discharge planning.

Responsibilities :

• Establishing and maintaining a standardized practice for Physician Advisor Services:
  • Throughput/Length of Stay
  • Observation Hours
  • Next Site of Care planning
  • Leading multidisciplinary rounds
• Participates in the review and development of medical guidelines and policies geared toward quality and efficiency of care

Performance Metrics :

• Meets Defined Length of Stay Goals
  • Medicare LOS to align with Geometric/Arithmetic Benchmarks
  • Commercial LOS
• Meets Organizational Goals for Hours in Observation
• Meets Goals related to Next Site of Care

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible and Valid NJ License
• 2+ years of Clinical Practice Experience
• Previous Utilization Management Experience in Acute Care Setting
• Prior leadership experience required
• CHCQM certified
• Knowledge of CMS Regulations and Knowledge of Nationally Accepted Guidelines such as MCG and InterQual
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills
• Proficient Computer Skills
• Strong Organizational Skills with Ability to Multi-task and Set Priorities

The Department of Neurology at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) in New Brunswick, NJ is seeking a Division Chief of Neuromuscular Disorders to lead a dynamic and expanding program with clinical, academic, and research components. Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Oversight:
  • Serve as Division Chief of Neuromuscular Disorders and supervise division faculty.
  • Direct the MDA-designated ALS Center of Excellence and the Electromyography (EMG) Laboratory at RWJUH-New Brunswick.
  • Guide program development and faculty mentoring within the division.
• Clinical Excellence:
  • Provide patient care for neuromuscular disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Perform electrodiagnostic testing (EMG/NCS) in multiple care environments.
  • Participate in consult services and the general neurology clinic, including satellite sites as needed.
  • Take part in night and weekend call schedules.
• Academic & Educational Engagement:
  • Contribute meaningfully to the department’s academic mission, including:
    • Teaching and mentoring neurology residents and fellows.
    • Lecturing and supervising medical students in pre-clinical and clinical settings.
    • Participating in resident clinic and small-group seminars.
  • Collaborate in administrative activities, departmental meetings, and strategic planning.
• Research & Community Involvement:
  • Engage in ongoing clinical neuromuscular research initiatives.
  • Provide neurological care to underserved populations.
  • Represent the department in community education programs related to neurological health.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO with Board Certification/Eligibility in Neurology.
• Fellowship training in Neuromuscular Disorders.
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure
• Demonstrated excellence in clinical care, leadership, teaching, and research.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in New Jersey.

The Department of Pediatrics at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS) is seeking a MD/DO physician candidate to provide direct patient care in the Division of Emergency Medicine (EM). The physician candidate will be board certified/board eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. The candidate will receive an academic faculty appointment commensurate with achievement and will participate in the educational, patient care, research and other academic activities of the Department of Pediatrics. In addition to clinical and teaching responsibilities, there may be opportunities to participate in research in areas of interest with other faculty members. The physician will join 10 full time faculty members who provide 24/7 in-house EM coverage. The candidate may also have the opportunity to participate in either clinical or lab-based research. The clinical services of the Division of Emergency Medicine are conducted at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) in New Brunswick, NJ, contiguous with the Bristol Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital (BMSCH). The Pediatric Emergency Department is a Level 2 Pediatric Trauma Center. BMSCH is a 105-bed acute care hospital located on the only pediatric academic health campus in the state of New Jersey. The BMSCH is ranked as one of America’s Best Hospitals by U.S. News and World Report.

The Department of Pediatrics has a full complement of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialists. Outpatient services are provided at the Child Health Institute of New Jersey which also houses our research faculty. The Department of Pediatrics includes physicians and basic scientists who conduct collaborative research with an emphasis on mechanisms of disease, novel therapies, epidemiology and/or outcomes research in the areas of relevance to childhood diseases. The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School invites applications for a faculty position at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, Trinitas Regional Medical Center. The Department is responsible for all anatomic and clinical laboratory services at Trinitas Regional Medical Center, a 554- bed Level II trauma center that provides comprehensive health care for the region. The successful candidate will be the leader of the pathology laboratory at Trinitas, responsible for oversight of all aspects of the laboratory operation. This individual will provide leadership for staff, will plan, organize and direct the activities of the Laboratory with the assistance of managers, supervisors and senior technologists and will serve as a subject matter expert and consultant, closely collaborating with physicians and other health care providers. The Director will have responsibility for providing clinical direction to the Trinitas laboratory, including laboratory oversight, test validation and maintenance of College of American Pathologists accreditation of the laboratory; experience in a CAP accredited laboratory is desirable. As a member of the Anatomic and Clinical Pathology team, consulting with clinical staff and participating in tumor boards is expected. This is a general pathology service within a community hospital, although subspecialty expertise in cytopathology is desirable.

Requirements:
