  • Project manage new equipment installations to automate and upgrade manufacturing processes.
  • Development and maintenance of robotic programs used throughout Hampton’s facilities.
  • Design and program management of fixtures used within the robotic processes.
  • Support/train manufacturing operators on the use of robotic automation equipment.
  • Documentation of all changes to production programs for future correlation to downstream process outputs.
  • Determination of key input variables within the automation process to ensure that process is robust against minor variations in casting dimensions.
  • Determination/implementation of key output variables to validate that critical functions within a program/piece have completed successfully before running additional product.
  • Support Manufacturing/Process owner in cross functional scrap initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited institution required. 3+ years’ experience in project management in an industrial environment.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years' experience programming robotics.
  • Experience with Motoman and/or Fanuc robots.

  • Tracks and documents SAV/AQC (Aircrew Qualification Check)/UEI (Unit Effectiveness Inspection) schedule on A3TV Office White Board and SharePoint Site.
  • Ensures 100% schedule synchronization with ACC/IG, NAF, and AF Reserve Component (ARC) inspection plans. Ensures timely delivery of inspection and site visit plans from NAFs to A3TV and ensures timely coordination between A3TV and ACC/IG.
  • Performs as the A3TV PoC for standardization, "gatekeeping", administration, and processing of FCIFs/SIIs/Waivers/HHQ Memos. Provides monthly updates to A3 via A3O briefing on FCIFs released within the previous 60 days.
  • Maintains the A3TV SharePoint for use as an effective communication tool with Wings/NAFs/ARC. Maximizes standardization between A3TV and NAF Standard/Evaluation SharePoint pages.
  • Collects and compiles performance data, such as Standard Evaluation Board (SEB) and AQC reports, from NAFs, Direct Reporting Units (DRU)s, Wings, and Groups. Analyzes the data for positive/negative trends across MDS, Wings, Crew positions, etc. Presents this refined analysis and suggested action items to A3T and A3.
  • Tracks and manages AFI change due dates and coordinate rewrite for all affected A3 publications.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

  • 1 year of experience with DoD, AF, and ACC policies and directives regarding aircrew standardization and evaluation
  • 1 year of HQ staff experience at the NAF level or higher
  • 5 years of USAF Career Enlisted Aviators or rated aviator experience.
  • Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery directly related to position.
  • Must be able to exchange information effectively with leadership, development teams, and product managers. Active listening skills during meetings and presentations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education; or subject-specialty degree, such as Art, Music Math, Social Studies, English 
  • Teaching certification or strong instructional experience with excellent recommendations from someone who has observed you in the classroom
  • Demonstrated ability to lead hands-on, project-based learning across subject areas
  • Commitment to fostering belonging and meaningful student contribution


Must also meet the following requirements

  • Attend 2 days of staff training ((6/26 and 6/29) and the full 5-week program (6/30-7/28)

(Limited exceptions considered if discussed prior to hiring & coverage plans are made)

  • Strong professional references – w/ at least one who is familiar with your classroom style/management
  • Submission of sample lesson plans you have successfully implemented
  • Background checks, willingness to fulfill VDOE pre-service requirements as a stipulation of your hire; and preparedness to complete paid training in CPR/First Aid, and Medication Administration Training (MAT) before June 15.
  • Ability to accompany students on weekly, often outdoor field trips, and twice-weekly swimming lessons that include assisting with pool prep and changing clothes.


Schedule & Compensation

·      Work schedule is Mon-Fri - 8AM – 3:30PM

·      Virtual and in-person paid spring training of approximately 10 hours

·      Ample planning time is built into the daily schedule

·      $35/hour – up to 37.50 hours weekly – approx. total compensation $6,000.
