Key Responsibilities include:
Outpatient EP clinic, including outreach
Inpatient electrophysiology consultations
Ablation procedures and device implantations
Collaborate with faculty across advanced heart failure, interventional cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and cardiovascular imaging.
Support education and development of fellows, residents, and advanced practice providers
Qualifications:
MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
Completion of ACGME accredited fellowship in Clinical Electrophysiology
Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities to be eligible for an academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor.
Leadership qualities and assets are highly valued.
Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Passion for providing high-quality care to patients and advancing the field of cardiology. Experience with complex ablations, lead extraction and advanced device therapy is highly desirable.

Albany Medical College – Department of Anesthesiology
The Department of Anesthesiology at Albany Medical College (AMC) is seeking fellowship-trained Obstetric Anesthesiologists at all ranks to join our obstetric anesthesia faculty team as we expand care of the obstetric population at our center. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, academically focused environment within the Capital Region’s only academic medical center and Level 1 trauma center. Albany Medical Center and its Obstetric Anesthesia program attained the prestigious recognition of SOAP Center of Excellence (COE) designation in 2016 and continues to be recognized by demonstrating excellence in obstetric anesthesia care.
About the Role
Our practice includes both healthy parturients and medically complex patients, with opportunities to participate in anesthesia care for obstetric patients outside of the L&D suite (e.g., interventional radiology and general OR) for non-obstetric surgery in obstetric patients.
The delivery rates at our institution are approximately 2500 annually and more than 50% of our patient population are high-risk and MFM cases. AMC has a very broad referral area and accepts all high-risk cases referred from many counties in NY as well as from eastern Vermont for our advanced high level of care.
Responsibilities
- Clinical Care – Provide safe, high-quality anesthesia care for parturients in inpatient and outpatient settings. We do antepartum OB anesthesia consults for high-risk cases which are sent to the OB anesthesia division by perinatal outreach/MFM. The clinical spectrum besides delivery includes antepartum non-obstetric surgery, ECV and cerclage placement.
- Education – Deliver didactic and hands-on instruction for residents, medical students, and student nurse anesthetists.
- Research – Participate in or initiate clinical research projects; scholarly activity is supported and encouraged.
- Collaboration – Work closely with obstetricians, OB residents, L&D nurses, and other perioperative team members to optimize patient outcomes.
- Mentorship – Provide guidance and support for trainees and junior faculty in professional and academic growth.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree (or equivalent)
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology residency
- Fellowship training in Obstetric Anesthesiology (required)
- Eligible for New York State medical licensure
- Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology, or foreign equivalent recognized by the ABA
Salary & Benefits

About the Role
As Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine, you will oversee all academic, clinical, and educational activities of the division. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric urologic care, including office-based procedures and operative care at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital. This role offers a balanced clinical practice with access to academic resources, collegial partners and strong APP support!
Position Highlights
~ Full-time faculty position within an academic medical center
~ Mix of inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities
~ Perform procedures in both the outpatient setting and the Children’s Hospital
~ Join a collaborative team of:
~1 pediatric urologist
~1.5 dedicated pediatric advanced practice providers
~ Access to a well-established referral network across the Capital Region and beyond
Clinical Responsibilities
Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a broad range of pediatric urologic conditions
Deliver care in outpatient clinics, inpatient consult services, and the operating room
Perform in-office procedures and hospital-based surgical procedures
Collaborate closely with pediatric surgery, pediatrics, anesthesia, nursing, and APP colleagues
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care models
Engage in teaching activities consistent with an academic practice, as appropriate

Qualifications
MD/DO (or equivalent) with board certification or eligibility in Urology
Completion of an ACGME-accredited urology residency
Fellowship training in pediatric urology
Eligible for medical licensure in New York State
Academic rank open (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) and based on experience and qualifications.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Commitment to teaching, mentoring, and advancing the field of pediatric urology.

Albany Medical College is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Adult Cardiac Surgeon to join its growing academic cardiac surgery program. This is an opportunity to be part of a well-established, collaborative team within a health system that supports clinical excellence, education, and program growth.
The ideal candidate will have experience across the full spectrum of adult cardiac surgery, including coronary revascularization, valvular disease, aortic pathology, and complex cardiac surgical care. The successful applicant will play an active role in advancing the Cardiac Surgery program while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
This position includes an academic appointment at Albany Medical College, with rank commensurate with experience, and offers meaningful involvement in teaching, quality initiatives, and clinical collaboration.

Qualifications:
MD/DO or related degree with board certification or eligibility in Adult Cardiac Surgery
At least 2 years of clinical experience post fellowship training
Clinically oriented with research experience and teaching abilities to be eligible for an academic appointment as Assistant or Associate Professor.
Leadership qualities and assets are highly valued.
Strong communication skills, with a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Demonstrated experience in adult cardiac surgical procedures
Ability to provide a current operative case log
Ability to teach, mentor, and collaborate with medical students, medical residents, surgery fellows, and other healthcare providers.
Eligible for academic appointment and medical licensure in the state of New York.
