Responsibilities:
- Perform visual inspections of assigned rides and attractions
- Perform rehab work on theme park rides and attractions
- Maintain, erect, repair and trouble-shoot various theme park rides and attractions

Qualifications:
- Should possess practical skill and proficient knowledge in two or more trades, such as: mechanical, electrical, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, carpentry, welding and small combustion engine repair and maintenance

Working to keep the Park clean for all guests. You will be responsible for assisting in maintaining and upholding the Park's Cleanliness Standards. Main focus will be overseeing Areas of the park and ensure that standards are being upheld, as well as leading and developing Team Members.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively greeting Unit Supervisors, Team Members and co-workers in a friendly, outgoing manner.
- Following all guidelines and checklists applicable to Park cleanliness.
- Following all Park policies regarding performance and attendance.
- Serving as a liaison between Team Members, Unit Supervisors and Full-Time Management.
- Completing daily inspection paperwork.
- Constantly making rounds throughout assigned area ensuring overall Area and restroom cleanliness.
- Assisting Team Members and Unit Supervisors with all opening/closing procedures in assigned area.
- Ensuring staffing levels are appropriate for given Guest attendance.
- Enforcing all Park policies and monitoring performance and attendance of Team Members in assigned area; coaching and correcting Team Member and issuing appropriate corrective action as needed.

Ride Operators ensure our guests have a fun and safe experience on our wide-variety of Rides.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend required Human Resources Discovery, Rides Department training, and specific ride training.
- Adhere to Six Flags Standards of Appearance and Attendance policy as stated in the Six Flags Handbook.
- Provide courteous greetings and answer any Guest questions. Respond to and resolve Guest comments whenever possible.
- Ensure Guest safety and satisfaction during their visit.
- Enforce all rider restrictions including monitoring and measuring for height requirements.
- Assist with pairing up of single riders and proper grouping techniques to ensure greater capacity.
- Take hourly throughput readings.
- Respond to any emergency situation in the area and maintain control until a Supervisor arrives.
- Monitor and enforce Park line jumping and smoking policies.
- Clean ride units and ride areas as needed, including Guest Illnesses.
- Assist with downtime situations and evacuation, if a ride cannot be restarted.
- Be able to communicate proper hand signals as called for during ride operation.
- Watch ride and waiting Guests during the ride cycle.
- Physically check restraints.
- Assist Guests as they exit the ride.
- Manually open restraints when necessary.
- Operate the secondary control panel and visually monitor ride during operation and be prepared to stop the ride during critical situations.
- Validates Fast Lane wristbands at assigned rides and manage merge points to ensure guests are loaded onto the ride in a safe and timely manner.
- Successfully complete the International Ride Operator Certification (iROC) course through General Rides Training.
- Complete ride certification tests, corrected to 100% proficiency.
- Complete Witness Statements as needed.
- Stand at the control panel of the ride and run the ride by pressing appropriate buttons, visually monitoring control panel for flashing lights/solid lights, and be prepared to stop the ride during critical situations.
- Give announcements via a public address system when necessary.
- When assigned by a Rides Unit or Section Supervisor - perform test rides to ensure continued safety.
- Report any unsafe acts to your Unit or Section Supervisor
- Maintaining all aspects of ride area cleanliness by lining all trash cans with bags, emptying when full, wiping and re-bagging trash cans and carrying a pan and broom to sweep leaves, trash and debris

This is a seasonal paid position (with internship credit opportunity) in the Safety Department. The Safety Supervisor Intern assists the Safety Manager in maintaining Safety programs and inspections that ensure a safe environment in an amusement park setting for our guests and team members. The position is available May through August and typically works 35 - 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate an interest in addressing safety concerns that will help maintain a safe environment for the guests and team members
- Conduct Safety Investigations by responding to locations in the park to gather facts and statements regarding accidents and incidents
- Write accurate and legible reports of accidents and incidents for review by Safety Department Management
- Maintain and inspect fire detection and suppression equipment and other safety equipment detailed in the department's inspection program
- Rapid response to emergency situations: Fires, Fire Alarms, Ride Incidents, First Aid calls, Vehicle accidents
- Communicate in a timely manner with the Safety Manager safety related incidents including ambulance transports, fires, and ride incidents
- Verbally communicate Safety and First Aid information to management team members at daily briefings.
- Identify the existence of hazards from data gathered during inspections and or reports from team members and guests. In a timely and professional manner, initiate the appropriate action to eliminate the hazards through personal action or attaining assistance from other park personnel
- Maintain relationships with the appropriate personnel from all departments to facilitate a safe environment for guests and team members of the park
- Complete safety audits daily, including ride and facility audits using an electronic tablet
- Communicate by using park issued radios and 10-code system
- Maintain confidentially of employment, medical and operational information.
- Communicate with the appropriate personnel from Resource Protections and Human Resources any non-negative results during drug and alcohol screenings on team members. Ensure all procedures are followed with securing and sending out samples for outside testing
- Assist First Aid crews on calls as directed
- Safely operate motor vehicles and golf carts that are both automatic and manual drive
- Maintain a professional relationship with guests and team members
- Maintain grooming standards according to the standard and policies set by Six Flags Great America and the Safety Department
- Adhere to all park labor policies pertaining to breaks taken, length of shift and types of work performed
Qualifications:

The Public Safety Security & Loss Prevention Internship Program offers students and aspiring professionals hands-on experience in security operations, guest safety, and asset protection within a dynamic environment. Interns will work alongside seasoned professionals to develop practical skills in surveillance, incident response, and theft prevention while gaining insight into the operational aspects of a large-scale facility.
Responsibilities:
- Consistent attendance and adherence to the posted schedule is a job requirement. Includes attendance of Park Discovery training, Security department training, and Security in-service training.
- Must meet all Human Resources requirements for internship program, including attendance of intern events/meetings.
- Maintain Park grooming and appearance standards in accordance with policies set forth by the Human Resources department. Maintain department uniform guidelines in accordance with policies set forth by the Security department.
- Interact with guests, team members, and Park management on a daily basis. Work with a diverse team and cooperate with all team members and Park management.

- Properly and consistently screen all guests via metal detection and according to department policy. Includes enforcement of prohibited items, guest behavior, and dress code policies.
- Work efficiently to screen guests in order to minimize the wait time to enter the Park.
- Work fixed positions designed to monitor team member and visitor entry/exit (backstage gates):
- Validate team member entry by checking Park issued ID cards and vehicle stickers.
- Validate visitor entry by following established clearance procedures and coordinating visitor appointments with Park management.
- Work patrol positions designed to respond to security-related incidents, emergencies, and calls for assistance:
- Assist guests with problem-solving and Park policy interpretation.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to Park policies, specifically related to guest code of conduct and ride safety.
- Rapidly respond to emergencies or calls for assistance according to department policy and/or at the direction of department management.
- Work toll and mobile positions designed to monitor the guest parking lot and toll lanes:
- Operate hand-held electronic device to scan passes for parking.
- Operate touch-screen point of sale (POS) system for credit/debit card transactions.
- Monitor and control access to preferred/membership parking area.
- Direct inbound/outbound vehicle traffic safely by using proper/visible hand signals and traffic control devices (i.e. cones, directional signs, etc.).
- Monitor overall traffic flow and parking lot capacity. Adjust traffic flow as needed or directed.
- Work positions designed to assist Lost Services:
- Monitor lost children brought to the post until they are reunited with parent/guardian.
- Assist parents/guardians searching for lost children and keep accurate record of all children reported lost.
- Properly handle lost items, including valuables and currency that are turned into Lost & Found and/or Security.
- Enter lost item reports into web-based lost and found tracking database (Chargerback System). Update reports as needed.
- Work fixed position designed to support and administer overall Security operation:
- Answer and screen incoming phone calls. Transfer calls and take/deliver accurate phone messages.
- Monitor all Security and Park radio traffic. Answer radio calls and provide appropriate responses. Includes dispatching and coordinating response to security-related calls for service, emergencies, and requests for assistance.
- Broadcast information, alerts, and/or messages over all Park radio channels as directed.
- Create and track calls for service in computer dispatch system. Accurately account for active calls for service, officer assignments, and officer locations at all times.
- Monitor Park alarm system, surveillance systems, and weather tracking/alert system.
- Work alongside the Loss Prevention Investigators:
- Monitor surveillance systems.
- Gain an understanding of fixed and mobile surveillance efforts, including CCTV installation and maintenance.
- Collect information from fixed surveillance, overt and covert camera systems, undercover operatives, secret shoppers, and field agents to assist in employee investigative interviews.
- Assist or facilitate investigations and investigative interviews of employees who have been shown to be involved in impropriety.

Occupational Therapist Qualifications:
- Licensure: Current Occupational Therapist license in the state where services are delivered or eligibility to obtain such licensure; NBCOT registration preferred.
- Clearances: DOJ/FBI Livescan Background Check and TB Clearance required; must be eligible to work in the US.
- Experience: Preferred experience in school or treatment settings with students facing learning or social-emotional challenges, including involvement with IEPs.
- Specialized Knowledge & Skills: Proficient in sensory integration techniques and supporting students with disabilities; certifications in Pro-Act, CPI, and/or CPR are helpful.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Occupational Therapist Physical Demands
- Environment: Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes.
- Activity: Frequent engagement in tasks such as reaching, handling, standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Sensory: Ability to perform essential job functions with or without assistive devices or accommodations, including working in moderate to high noise levels.
