Position: Emergency Radiologist – Virtual or Hospital Based

Hours : 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM CST, 1 week on, 2 weeks off

Key Responsibilities:

• Contemporaneous interpretation of STAT cases for the NorthShore Hospitals (Evanston, Glenbrook, Highland Park and Skokie)

• Workload: Continually adjusted to maintain reasonable workload. Shift includes 3-4 hours of overlap with second shift ED Radiologists

Job Summary:

The Physician Vice President for Engagement, Development, and Well-Being (Physician Vice President) partners with administrative and clinical leadership across the system to advance physician /APP engagement, development, and well-being. The Physician Vice President will also deliver content and at times recruit other physician leaders to deliver content that is part of the overall learning portfolio for physicians/APPs. This role will also serve as a key liaison to the Endeavor Health Medical Group and Endeavor Health Physician Partners Governance Committees for quality, engagement, development and wellbeing. This role will confer with EHMG and System Physician Executives & NS Clinical Chairs and Acute and Ambulatory Physician & APP Leadership in order to ensure diverse perspectives are included in shaping program design and implementation. This role will also coordinate with physician and administrative leadership in EHPP and in Endeavor hospitals and institutes and service lines to ensure our engagement and strategies include our affiliated and acute care physicians in meaningful and impactful ways. 

This role will partner with the Learning and Development Center of Expertise and serve as a key member of the System Learning Council that will be led by talent management function. Experience: The candidate will join our Hematologist/Oncologists in the Endeavor Health Medical Group, establishing the practice at Northwest Community Hospital. Qualified candidates must be excellent clinicians, be prepared to work towards 1-2 disease site sub specialization over 1-3 years and assist with the development and growth of related programs, including clinical research, quality, and education.

• $275K-$572K. The pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• Join an existing busy practice with 4 OB/GYN Physicians and 1 Advanced Practice Provider

• Duties include: seeing patients in the office, taking call, providing labor and delivery coverage, performing gynecologic surgery, and working with residents

• Outpatient clinic time at our site in Mount Prospect (1754 W Golf Road) with 1 day per week in Park Ridge on the hospital campus

• 1:5 call schedule
