Are you an experienced Journeyman Electrician with a passion for the construction industry? We are seeking a Permanent Electrical Superintendent who will be an integral part of our construction team. This role demands a high level of responsibility and offers an opportunity to contribute to the creation of state-of-the-art healthcare facilities and Mission Critical/Data Centers. The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience in the field, with a proven track record in scheduling, materials reporting, electrical systems installation, and electrical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all electrical operations on our construction sites. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of electricians and other construction workers.
2. Ensuring that all electrical installations comply with health and safety regulations.
3. Scheduling and assigning tasks to team members, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
4. Preparing materials reports and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available on-site.
5. Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, ensuring that they are functioning correctly and safely.
6. Working closely with other construction professionals, such as architects and engineers, to ensure that all aspects of the construction process are coordinated effectively.
7. Training and mentoring junior team members, helping them to develop their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in scheduling manpower and materials reporting.
3. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems installation and electrical troubleshooting.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
7. The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
8. A commitment to health and safety regulations.
9. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to different construction sites in Texas.
