Pediatric Neuropsychologist:

The Pediatric Neuropsychologist will perform comprehensive neuropsychological, psychological, and developmental diagnostic evaluations. Full psychometrist support is provided. This position is in our multidisciplinary behavioral health department, which includes Clinical Psychology, Neuropsychology, Psychiatry, Mental Health Counseling, and Applied Behavior Analysis. It is a busy, outpatient practice that serves a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative work environment. The Pediatric Neuropsychologist will have the opportunity to participate in our Lifespan Neuropsychology Training program to provide didactics and/or supervise trainees.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. 

  • Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.

  • Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization for primary medical diagnoses, depending on needs of patients, medical staff and hospital.

  • Provides appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements; appeal all denials in a timely manner.

Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)

The Family Medicine Department in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join the practice at the Gate Parkway Primary Care Center. This role is heavily involved in innovative primary car models. Workflows emphasize and prioritize preventive care, disease screening, and asynchronous care provided by each member of the care team. There is a large focus on virtual and RN care to meet acute and chronic patient needs. The team is led by a Family Medicine Physician who provides patient care in conjunction with their paired Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. 

  • Outpatient practice 

  • Experience in advanced care models in Family Medicine in residency or practice is preferred but not required.

  • Night call approximately 1:15 with a similar rotation for weekend clinic coverage
