Starling Physicians is searching for a Full Time or Part Time Pediatrician to join our expanding Pediatric department. The practice is part of a large multi-specialty group with robust referral base. Looking for a team player to join this very well regarded, long established, collegial practice.
Starling has over 250 physicians and advanced practitioners in other specialties. We are conveniently located in 30 locations throughout Central Connecticut.
Responsibilities include:
· Call coverage roughly 1:8 (with nurse triage 24/7, no hospital coverage)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Medical Assistants support providers in ECMPF medical office settings. They are multi-skilled, assume a wide range of roles and are viewed as vital partners in providing quality patient care and increasing medical office productivity. Medical Assistants handle both administrative and clinical duties and must demonstrate acute attention to detail, accuracy, professional etiquette and superior customer service and clinical skills at all times.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, AND one of the following:
- Completed a Medical Assistant Program
- OR
- Certification/Registration as an MA
- OR
- 5+ years of experience as a Medical Assistant in lieu of being a Registered MA/ or attended an MA Program
- OR
- 5+ years of experience as a Nurse Assistant, or a Certified Nurse Assistant with at least 1 year of experience
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience working in a medical facility is preferred.
COMPETENCIES:
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced confidential medical environment.
- Must be team oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish and maintain a safe work environment.

- Greet patients and prepare them for physician examination per established office protocol.
- Keep information in the patient?s chart current per established requirements.
- Documents all sample medication dispensed in the medical record.
- Provide oversight to vaccine programs following State guidelines.
- Checks and restocks rooms with necessary supplies and ensures exam rooms are prepared for the day.
- Keep inventory of medical supplies and report them to Office Coordinator/Practice Manager for reorder.
- Report malfunction of medical equipment to Office Coordinator/Practice Manager.
- Properly cleans and sterilizes equipment and prepares surgical trays as indicated by the physician.
- Assist physician/practitioner with office surgical procedures.
- Perform EKG and Spirometry as ordered.
- Report lab results to patients and follow through with any physician instructions to patients for follow up or change in medication, including scheduling appointment when necessary.
- Answer requests from pharmacies for prescription refills per office protocol.
- Prepare specimens and paperwork to submit to reference lab for testing as directed by physician or midlevel provider.
- Instruct patients on how to properly collect sterile urine specimens.
- On a monthly basis check all medications (including samples) and appropriately dispose of expired medications.
- Obtain pre-certifications for tests, procedures, treatments, medications, and hospitalizations as needed.
- Schedule and arrange referrals and outside testing for patients as directed by physician.
- Maintain work area in a neat and organized manner.
- Maintain appropriate documentation of compliance with CLIA regulations.
- Primary Care staff participates in Patient Centered Medical Home Care Team collaborations.
- May be required to float to other offices and/or perform other duties as requested by Management.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA requirements.

Description
Plans and designs manufacturing processes throughout the plant. This position maximizes efficiency by analyzing all aspects of manufacturing processes. Determines parts and tools needed to achieve product specifications and business objectives.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Under general direction, performs the management of projects related to aerospace component engineering and manufacturing for new and existing parts and assemblies. Establishes manufacturing methods and process sequence necessary to complete parts. Creates models, operation sheets and work instructions using Solidworks software. Initiates Tool & Fixture design concepts and maintains close feedback with other shop floor personnel, management and related customers and vendors. Troubleshoots manufacturing problems and implements method and tool improvements. Writes rework and repair methods for non-conformances and prepares projects timelines. Participates in discussions with customers and suppliers as required. Performs additional duties as requested, including cost estimating.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Reads and interprets blueprints, symbols and geometric tolerances based on military and commercial specifications.
- Able to process complex assemblies and conceptualize developmental and production tooling in a job shop environment.
- Proficient with the following software applications: Solidworks (or equivalent), MS Project / Word / Excel.
- Able to create Solid models, operations sheets, Tool and Fixture designs.
- Familiarity with specifications and requirements for aerospace component manufacturing that includes having knowledge of aerospace coatings, heat treatment, and machining specifications.
- Strong math background including trigonometry and geometry.
- Able to research, understand and implement new technologies for possible cost savings and process improvements.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a team-based environment.
- Able to perform hands-on shop work.
- Proficient in project management.

Normal office working conditions with the absence of disagreeable elements. Manufacturing Engineers spend a good amount of time on the shop floor.

Description
The CNC Milling Machine Operator builds the operator's skills and knowledge to efficiently perform and maintain the manufacturing processes vertical and horizontal multi-axis milling machines to produce precision aerospace components.
Responsibilities:
- Operate vertical and horizontal multi-axis milling machinery as required with supervision.
- Use manual inspection equipment as required, e.g. height stands, micrometers, indicators, dial bores, verniers
- Work with aerospace materials such as aluminum, stainless steel, magnesium, titanium, and nickel alloys.
- Read/interpret operation sheets and work instructions.
- Adhere to established policies and company procedures and standard work.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives utilizing lean manufacturing tools and techniques.
- Document and communicate manufacturing performance issues to maintain continuity between shifts and decrease machine downtime.
- Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow all safety policies, rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned by Leads, Supervisors and/or Managers.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or sit for extended period of time on a concrete manufacturing floor.
- Fine motor skills with frequent hand and arm movement.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Moderate twisting and bending.
- Moderate climbing on step stools or platforms.
Unusual Environmental Conditions:

- The TM maintains a positive attitude, works with a sense of urgency, and executes all company directives, policies, and procedures accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
- The TM contributes to a customer-focused environment while providing excellent customer service.
- The Team Member performs cashier and front-end duties as assigned, ensuring transactions are completed accurately and efficiently while providing customers with a positive shopping experience.
- The Team Member unloads, processes, and stocks freight within the correct location while following all store merchandising guidelines.
- TM performs Store recovery, conditioning, and housekeeping tasks as assigned inside and outside the building.
- The TM completes the daily/weekly workload and tasks as assigned and ensures all tasks are completed efficiently and on-time.
- The TM actively impacts and participates in the areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, and loss prevention so the store will operate effectively and profitably.
- All other duties are based on business needs.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- At least 18 years old.
- High School Diploma/Equivalent.
- Communicates clearly and concisely with excellent verbal and comprehension skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. or team lift 100 lbs.
- Reliable and trustworthy with ethical and honest behavior. Does the right thing for a team member, the customer, and the company in all situations.
