The Assistant Clinical Manager – Home Health, will evaluate nursing activities to ensure patient care, staff relations, and efficiency of service within the team. Act as a resource and support for clinical staff and facilitate collaborative teamwork on the unit and with ancillary departments. Oversee the Quality Program for the clinic and ensure that all standards are met, and keep procedural manuals and other necessary equipment up to date. This individual will serve as a backup to the Clinical Manager and will manage a caseload as needed for client coverage.

Marshfield Medical Center - Marshfield: Join a well-established team of 6 experienced physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Clinicians at our Tertiary Care Hospital/Teaching Hospital. 50:50 Pulmonary / Critical Care Split. Pulmonary portion is M-F, no weekends! 2 weeks of pulmonary each month, consists of both outpatient clinic and inpatient consults. Approximately 7 inpatient Critical Care shifts each month. Critical care procedures will include, but are not limited to Navigational Bronchoscopy, central line, ECMO and chest tube placement.
Marshfield Medical Center - Weston: Join a well-balanced department with a welcoming environment from colleagues and dedicated support staff. The position is 50:50 inpatient critical care medicine (in Weston, Wisconsin ) and outpatient pulmonary medicine outreach to Stevens Point, Wisconsin . Schedule includes 7 days Critical Care and 2 weeks pulmonary clinic per month. DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS) seeks a visionary, strategic and inspirational leader to serve as the next Chair of the Family Medicine department. The chair will lead MCHS to Category of One across the Family Medicine practice. With an administrative and nursing partner, the chair is responsible for defining and implementing a strategic plan to ensure quality, safety, efficiency, patient experience, and staff satisfaction. In collaboration with other leaders, the chair will work to optimize the practice through the design, development, evaluation, and prioritization of forward-looking, innovative models as well as develop its research and education portfolios. The chair will be primarily located in Wisconsin or Minnesota and is responsible for developing the Family Medicine department across MCHS in an integrated, coordinated, and efficient manner, and represents the MCHS perspective within the broader Mayo Clinic institution.
The Chair is accountable for providing leadership and collaboration in fulfilling the following objectives for the Family Medicine department in MCHS
Facilitate the development and implementation of the MCHS Family Medicine strategic plan by building multidisciplinary teams, ensuring project execution and executing performance. Responsible for overall operational performance, developing plans using a “Now, Near, Far” approach.
Work with the state vice chairs to provide operational, clinical, and financial oversight for the MCHS states/regions. Track and communicate results/progress toward departmental performance measures and targets ensuring responsible resource allocation to achieve financial sustainability.
Strive to develop a consistent and replicable standard of care throughout MCHS by disseminating and directing best practices.
Ensure staff satisfaction and engagement through well-being, creating a culture of recognition and sense of belonging. Build and maintain relationships across Mayo Clinic Health System Family Medicine sites, focusing on practice operations, information systems, culture, and market dynamics

Responsibilities
The Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) first assists the surgeon/physician in the performance of surgical procedures. The CSA has an understanding of human surgical anatomy; has developed surgical skills such as suturing, the proper use of surgical instrumentation, and proper positioning of surgical patients. The CSA possesses a working knowledge of the principles of aseptic technique, and perioperative policies and procedural guidelines. The CSA must have knowledge of surgical procedures and the ability to anticipate the needs of the surgeon. The CSA will work in a multi-specialty perioperative setting that includes general surgery, orthopedic surgery, neurological surgery, spinal surgery, ENT/radical neck surgery, gynecological surgery, urology surgery, cardiovascular surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, trauma surgery, plastic surgery, transplant surgery, colon-rectal surgery, and pediatric surgery.
QualificationsGraduate of a Surgical Assistant program or equivalent surgical assistant training. Currently certified as a Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) through the National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA) or as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). Relevant operating room experience or training within the past 3 years is preferred.Adapts to unpredictable situations within the perioperative setting. Proven ability to communicate with a variety of people in a direct, empathetic, and articulate manner. Demonstrates patient-centered and customer focused communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member with minimal supervision.Must have and maintain current certification as Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA) with the National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistants (NCCSA) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) with National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
