- Ongoing Job ID: j-236876 We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician for a locum tenens opportunity at our outpatient clinic located within a hospital near Defiance, Ohio.
This is an excellent opportunity to provide specialized care to high-risk pregnant women while enjoying the flexibility of locum tenens work.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of maternal and fetal complications, exceptional diagnostic and clinical skills, and a patient-centered approach to care.
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive MFM services, including specialized ultrasounds, genetic counseling, and management of high-risk pregnancies.
Job Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized care plans.
Perform a variety of specialized ultrasound procedures to assess fetal well-being and diagnose potential complications.
Provide genetic counseling to patients facing complex pregnancy decisions.
Manage high-risk pregnancies, including those with pre-eclampsia, gestational diabetes, multiple gestations, and fetal anomalies.
Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as obstetricians, neonatologists, and pediatricians, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Practice Details: Outpatient clinic setting within a hospital environment.
Minimal after-hours call responsibilities.
Busy practice with an average of 40 ultrasounds and 5 consultations per day.
Flexibility to adjust patient schedules as needed.
Sole MFM physician in the practice during the locum tenens coverage period.
Onsite laboratory and ultrasound services available for your convenience.
Level III nursery on-site for advanced neonatal care.
Utilize the EPIC/AS Ultrasound Software for efficient documentation.

Requirements: Board Certification in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
Active or ability to obtain Ohio medical license.
Current BLS certification.
AIUM Ultrasound Certification.

MHS is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and life-changing career, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8–13 students living in the home. Flex Houseparents play a vital role in creating a structured, family-like environment that fosters students’ academic, emotional, and social development so they can reach their full potential.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
- Driving students to activities, as well as planning and actively engaging in developmental and recreational activities with students
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
Upon hire, Flex Houseparents initially support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. On weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Flex Houseparents eventually transition into a Placed Houseparent role, where they live and work with the same group of students in their own student home.
