Job Description
The Cath Lab Manager is a hands on leader who keeps the heart of the Cardiac Cath Lab running smoothly around the clock. This role leads the planning, direction, and daily management of Cath Lab operations and staff to ensure exceptional patient care on a 24 hour basis. The manager partners closely with physicians and the healthcare team to foster collaboration, maintain high clinical standards, and create a positive and efficient work environment.
This position is responsible for meeting all regulatory and accreditation standards while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures. The Cath Lab Manager oversees supplies and equipment, supports smart resource management, and drives both internal and external customer satisfaction. Above all, this leader champions teamwork, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement within the invasive cardiology setting.
Minimum Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or a graduate degree in Nursing
- Previous experience as a Cath Lab Registered Nurse
- A minimum of two years of leadership experience in an invasive cardiology setting
- Current ACLS and BLS certification
Job Description
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills:
Expert in implementing, and support Cisco SDA (DNA Center, ISE integration, fabric onboarding) and Cisco ACI (policy model, contracts, EPGs, fabric troubleshooting).
Administer and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls including:
Security policies, NAT, routing
VPN (IPSec, site-to-site, remote access)
Panorama management and threat prevention profiles
Manage and support enterprise wireless networks (Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent), including RF optimization, roaming, and high-density deployments.
Design, configure, and troubleshoot IPSec VPNs, including third-party interoperability.
Administer Infoblox DDI (DNS, DHCP, IPAM) including grid management, failover, and automation integration.
Lead hands-on P1 troubleshooting for complex network issues across Application, LAN, WAN, DC, and security domains.
Real-time packet capture skills to investigate complex issues during live P1 calls. (Wireshark)

Roles & Responsibilities
Troubleshooting Level 3 and advanced network issues and performing call backs ensuring issues are resolved & appropriate solutions are provided to the customer in a high-pressure factory environment
Responsible for investigating causes, tests solutions & suggest solutions in place to reduce the time taken to resolve the network-related tickets.
Manage new and existing equipment, hardware, and network device software upgrades.
Understanding Network supports priorities and objectives and takes an active role in accomplishing them.
Should be able to lead and drive technically the Operational issues on his own in a high-pressure environment engaging multiple stakeholders during live troubleshooting.
Help level 1 & level 2 resources to address Network related issues.
Strong underst anding of network routing and switching protocols required.

- Compliance with Health & Safety Regulations
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to environmental health and safety within the facility
- Manage federal, state, and local outside agencies for routine safety inspections, including compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Lead local safety and environmental programs and provide direction for facility
- Stay up to date on federal, state, and local regulations related to environmental health and safety and advise management on emerging trends and changes in regulations, assisting in the implementation of necessary measures to maintain compliance
- Develop and oversee incident response plans and procedures
- Investigate accidents, near misses, and other safety incidents to identify root causes and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence
- Ensure proper onsite management and offsite disposal of solid, universal, and hazardous wastes to protect water quality and comply with applicable regulations
- Conduct daily activities including incident review, risk assessment, action item tracking, reporting, 5S/CI events, and project tracking
- Working with Business Unit Safety Manager, implement enterprise-wide and business unit safety activities

- Manage local Safety and Environmental programs and provide direction for corrections and improvements as needed
- Conduct regular inspections and audits for the facility to assess compliance with safety regulations and internal policies; provide recommendations and guidance for corrective actions as needed
- Develop and implement safety protocols, policies, and procedures to mitigate risks and hazards in the workplace
- Collaborate with management to develop and maintain emergency response plans. Conduct drills and exercises to assess the effectiveness of emergency protocols and ensure employees are prepared
- Investigates and reviews safety related incidents and reports, including reports for insurance carriers

- Establish and implement facility and organizational safety communications to ensure employees are aware of potential hazards and safety initiatives

Required Experience
- 7+ years of experience in an environmental, health, and safety manufacturing environment
- Experience in Lockout/Tag out programs and machine guarding
- Experience with forklift training
- In depth knowledge of environmental, health, and safety laws, regulations, and standards (OSHA, EPA)
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and associated safety hazards
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and lean manufacturing principles
- Training and facilitation experience and capability
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex safety concepts to diverse audiences
- Analytical mindset with the proven ability to assess risks, identify trends, interpret operational needs, and recommend appropriate corrective actions
- Problem solving and data analysis skills (8D, 5Y, statistics)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence, and coach stakeholders at varying levels of the organization
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple project simultaneously
- Proficiency in using software applications and tools for safety reporting, data analysis, and documentation
- Strong PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including the ability to develop summary graphs, tables, pivot tables, and other reports using PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

- Perform Ultrasound vascular procedures. Technologists will need to have completed documented cross training prior to performing these studies unsupervised.

What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology and/or School of Sonography. Two year program or four yea BA program in Radiology Technology followed by training in sonography or completion of requirements from an accredited school in sonography including meeting all clinical requirements.
ARRT and/or ARDMS registry eligible required upon hire. ARDMS and RVT registration required within 12 months of hire.
BLS Certification from American Heart Association or American Red Crossrequiredwithin30 days.
One-year hospital department experience in medical sonography to include biopsies preferred
Able to accurately complete sonography examinations as ordered by referring physicians.
Experience with radiology information systems to obtain previous examination reports.
