Job DescriptionWe are actively seeking Board-Certified/Board-Eligible OB/GYN Physicians to join our existing team at our locations in Rye, White Plains, and Yonkers, New York.
Physician will be responsible for providing complete, comprehensive clinical care for all patients. Physician provides clinical care services including, but not limited to, diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care, preventative and health care maintenance to patients. An exciting opportunity for an outstanding Laborists to join The Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at one of the largest and most comprehensive healthcare systems in Connecticut recognized for advanced clinical care, quality, service, cost effectiveness and commitment to improving the health status of the communities it serves.
You will be a part of a skilled team of maternity specialists from board-certified physicians, nationally certified nurses and midwives to experts in high-risk pregnancies. Qualified Laborists will be responsible for full-time appointments at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in the Academic Clinician track. The medical team provides services in partnership with your obstetrician, using the highest level of sophisticated technology and is always available to care for patients in the Labor and Delivery Unit. Qualifications
- Board certified/eligible in general obstetrics and gynecology
- Superior surgical and operative vaginal delivery skills
- Experience demonstrating excellence in evidence-based obstetric care and teaching
- Experience in collaborating with certified nurse midwives and an interest in participating in and conducting clinical research are desirable.
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts (2-4 days each week)

As a Medical Order Processing Assistant, you'll play a critical role in managing and coordinating physician orders:
- Use our Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to fax physician orders to external providers.
- Monitor order confirmations and proactively call physician offices if faxes aren?t received or confirmed.
- Review orders for completeness, accuracy, and required details.
- Manage incoming orders via fax or digital portals and file them properly in the EMR.
- Communicate clearly with medical staff about incomplete or missing orders.
- Maintain accurate logs of faxes sent, received, and any follow-up actions taken.
Key Qualifications
- Proficiency in using EMR systems, including sending and managing faxes.
- Excellent organizational skills with close attention to detail.
- Confident and professional telephone skills?comfortable calling physician offices for follow-up.
