The successful candidate will be a physician-scientist with significant interest and skills in both the care of patients with neurological cancers and the development of clinical trials and translational research programs for these patients. He or she will have completed formal training in neuro-oncology, and will be BC/BE in either medical oncology/hematology or neurology. We are seeking energetic faculty Physician-Scientists who desire to develop an academic, laboratory translational research program, in close collaboration with established basic, translational, and clinical scientists at Loma Linda University.
Successful candidates will have a primarily research laboratory assignment with dedicated laboratory space and a generous start up package, but will also be expected to develop, conduct, and participate in translating laboratory research into clinical applications, other collaborative research in blood and marrow transplantation, and cellular immunotherapy.

Additional, specific hematological disease focus is optional and is based on candidate preference. This work is supported by core facilities, laboratory research space, the Cancer Center Clinical Trials Unit, a new cGMP and TCT laboratory, fully characterized tumor samples repository, and a new state-of-the-art Medical Center and a Children Hospital buildings opened in 2021, all on the Medical School campus. TCT program at Loma Linda University heath is a fully FACT accredited program in adult autologous and allogeneic BMT and immune effector cell therapy providing various FDA approved and experimental CAR-T, other immune effector cells and gene therapy.

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $150,000 – $400,000. Generous Retirement Contribution
