Job Duties:
- Duty Drawback Refund Analysis - Extract, review, interpret and prepare necessary data for duty drawback claims. Work closely with service provider, broker, and freight forwarders, to determine, maintain, and audit duty drawback claims. Provide data and documentation to service provider. Track and provide statistics regarding refunds filed, refunding and outstanding. Create a method to report metrics regarding refund amounts claimed, received and outstanding. Create a metric for failed packages to identify trends. Identify corrective action needed and work with partners to implement process change. Ensure errors are identified and corrective action is taken to fulfill and resolve claims package for refund. Support improvement with negative trends by providing key training to personnel involved. Create and implement processes or improve current processes to maintain consistency. Work with stakeholders cross-functionally and internationally to identify and implement process improvements. Ensure auditability of refund requests to United States Customs and Border Protection by verifying compliance data to include classification and country of origin determination.
- Continuous Process Improvement Analysis - Work independently based on experience and knowledge to conduct analysis on trade compliance processes within the drawback framework to identify areas of additional refund potential. With minimal supervision, work with key stakeholders to implement processes that support additional drawback refunds and/or reduce the Company’s customs compliance risk.
- Research, Planning, and Implementation - Research upcoming or new laws, regulations, and best practices in drawback determination to plan needed changes and oversee execution of changes. Document procedures to support process creation, change, or improvement.
- Trade Compliance Team Support - Support tactical trade compliance tasks when directed. Troubleshoot Import / Export issues. Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2-4 years related experience
- Associate degree (Trade Compliance, Manufacturing or Supply Chain)
- Non-degree considered if 6+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
- Frequent travel (6-20%)
- Frequent overnight stays (6-20%)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced in document review or audit in Trade Compliance, Manufacturing or Supply Chain.
- Good organizational and interpersonal communication skills.

Planner & Financials Analyst
Responsibilities
Forecasting, Planning, Scheduling, and Delivery
Work in collaboration with AET, Sales and Project Management teams globally to forecast sales and kit production. Communicate with Manufacturing, Distribution and Engineering to ensure the Company has adequate capacity and compliance for each type of AET hardware product. Translate sales demand and establish production schedules to meet customer lead time expectations. Manage and develop the necessary processes to track financial transactions in relation to project schedules. Analyze weekly release schedules to maximize available production while maintaining appropriate levels of inventory and lead times. Track orders through the entire life cyle.
Bill Records, Financials & Reporting
Manage and develop the necessary processes to track financial transactions in relation to project schedules. Analyze exceptions and change reports to modify production plans. Identify potential issues within production and distribution channels and provide corrective actions to mitigate impact to end customers. Work with Project Management to maintain accuracy of daily kit release reports and lead time communications to Global Sales teams. Ensure billing records are accurate.
Financial and Business Process Analysis
Define, implement and maintain departmental budget and reporting practices. Implement a process to connect department expenses across multiple ERP systems Incorporate project budgets and financials into monthly BI reports . Identify opportunities and manage project(s) to implement business system(s) to move financials to a systematic process. Implement, and administer Workfront reports, dashboards and processes. Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend mitigations steps to leadership.
Order Inquiries, Invoicing & Sales Configurator
Ensure Company invoicing practices are adhered to Work with Sales, Customer Support and Engineering on sales configurator updates and modifications . Organize and review invoices. Work with each unique customer business system to ensure invoicing is uploaded properly and payment is successful. Collaborate with Credit and Collections department on outstanding invoices. Assist with modifying the invoice when necessary for it to be paid by the customer.

- Receive, review, interpret and prepare data for US Customs import claims. Interact with suppliers outside the United States to streamline document submission processes. Ensure shipments travelling to the US have correct paperwork and data for submission to US Customs. Work closely with suppliers, service providers, brokers, and freight forwarders, to determine, maintain, and audit import claims prior to arrival and after completion. - Able to travel for medical screening, monitoring, and embryo transfer appointments

Compensation & Benefits
We recognize the commitment, time, and care involved in being a gestational carrier. Compensation includes:
Base Compensation
- $60,000 – $70,000(First-time carrier to experienced carrier)
Additional Benefits
- $250 monthly expense allowance
- $500 maternity clothing allowance
- $10,500 for multiple birth
- Up to $10,000 for loss of organs (per contract terms)
- Lost wages (carrier and spouse, if applicable — based on employment verification)
- Travel reimbursement
- $200 per week for housekeeping (if medically necessary)
- $20 per hour for childcare (if medically necessary)

Salary and Duty Location Recruitment Incentives and Benefits
Annual Base Salary for newly appointed CBPOs varies as follows:
GS-9: $61,111 - $124,443 per year
Note: A fully trained CBPO is eligible for up to $45,000 in overtime pay in addition to the starting salary.
Officers are eligible to select from an array of federal employment benefits that include health, dental and other insurance plans, generous annual and sick leave, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan.
LOCATION INCENTIVES: If you accept one of the duty locations listed below, you may be eligible to receive an additional 15%-25% of your salary each year for the first three (3) years of employment in addition to any overtime pay. Some locations may offer 25% for four (4) years.
Duty locations offering 25% recruitment incentives: Otay Mesa, San Francisco, San Ysidro, and Tecate, CA; Key West, FL; etc.
Duty locations offering 15% recruitment incentives: Honolulu, HI; Portal, ND; etc.
Duty location offering 10% recruitment incentives: Calexico, CA
Qualifications:
You qualify for the GS-9 grade level in one of the following ways: experience, education, or a combination of both.
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level that includes:
- Detaining suspected violators of federal, state, or local laws and/or arresting violators using the proper law enforcement methods.
- Enforcing laws and regulations relating to importing, exporting, and/or international shipping.
- Utilizing intelligence techniques and behavior analysis to identify potential threats.
- Conducting interviews in a law enforcement capacity.
Education Substitution: A master's (or higher) degree or an LL.B. or J.D. from an accredited college or university; OR
Combination of Experience and Education: A combination of specialized experience AND successfully completed graduate-level education.
Other Requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Residency: Primary U.S. residency for at least three of the last five years.
