FREMONT: We are looking to hire 2 full-time physicians to help us expand our REI/IVF practice in the Fremont area. Our service area - the Greater Southern Alameda Area - has OBGYN offices in 3 locations: Fremont, San Leandro, and Union City with 60+ OB/GYN physicians. We support 2 hospitals located in our Fremont and San Leandro campuses, with 1 Labor and Delivery unit in San Leandro. We are a team that values high quality, evidence-based medicine with a commitment to performance improvement work. We deliver approximately 4000 births a year; led by our Hospitalist group and supported by 20+ midwives. Our hospital has a Level 3 NICU and Neonatologists on staff. Our team of specialists includes 5 Perinatologists, 1 Urogynecologist, 2 REI/IVF specialists, 3 MIGS fellowship trained physicians, and 3 Complex Family Planning fellowship trained physicians. We serve a diverse patient population who speak 53 languages and have an established Maternal Child Health Patient Advisory Committee that focuses on health equity. We offer an exciting OB/GYN practice with lots of opportunity to grow as a physician in a supportive environment. SACRAMENTO:We are looking to hire a full-time physician to help us expand our REI/IVF practice in the Sacramento area. SAN RAMON: We are looking to hire a full-time physician to help us expand our REI/IVF practice in San Ramon. We currently have two physicians and two REI-trained NPs, a close-knit team of support staff, and a broad network of Kaiser Permanente physician colleagues. You will be joining a large group of KP Northern California REI specialists.


SANTA CLARA: We are looking to hire a full-time physician to help us expand our REI/IVF practice in the South Bay. We currently have 4 board-certified physicians (1 full-time and 3 part-time) and 4 REI-trained NPs, 2 part-time REI trained advice nurses, a close-knit team of support staff (LVN's and MA's), and a broad network of Kaiser Permanente physician colleagues, including Gyn/Onc, MFM, urogynecology, female pelvic pain, and 10 minimally invasive surgery specialists, and 68 OB/GYN generalists and 3 OB/GYN NPs in our medical center and satellite campuses. Job Summary

The Director of Revenue Management directs all UCSF Health revenue integrity strategy and initiatives across hospital and professional billing environments. The Director oversees the Revenue Integrity (RI) team and has enterprise responsibility for Charge Description Master (CDM) governance, pricing, accurate and compliant charge capture, documentation alignment, revenue monitoring, and proactive identification and mitigation of denial risk.


Responsibilities include the structure and maintenance of the CDM and professional fee schedules; development, implementation, and oversight of policies and processes related to compliant charging and coding practices; pricing strategy, analysis, and modeling; and proactive monitoring of gross revenue performance and revenue risk.


The Director collaborates extensively with clinical departments, Health Information Management, Patient Financial Services, Compliance, Internal Audit, Health Plan Strategy, Finance, and Information Technology teams to ensure revenue integrity requirements are embedded into operational and technical workflows. This includes partnership with IT and Epic application teams to optimize system design, automation, testing, and validation of charge capture and billing workflows to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and safeguarding of revenue.


The Director interacts with executives, other directors, internal and external auditors, compliance leadership, operational leaders, physicians and their staff, and UC system counterparts. External contacts include state and federal agencies, regulatory bodies, vendors, and external auditors.


The Director contributes to short- and long-range planning for revenue cycle strategies, processes, tools, and systems; establishes departmental goals, budgets, and staffing plans; and develops policies that affect revenue integrity and revenue cycle functions across UCSF Health. Errors in judgment or failure to achieve objectives may result in significant financial loss, compliance risk, or operational disruption.

The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.

Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The Revenue Management Department provides enterprise governance, strategic oversight, and operational leadership for revenue integrity across UCSF Health, encompassing both hospital and professional billing environments. The department is responsible for ensuring compliant, accurate, and defensible revenue practices through oversight of charge capture, documentation alignment, coding integration, pricing governance, and Charge Description Master (CDM) and professional fee schedule management.


The department partners closely with clinical leadership, Finance, Compliance, Health Information Management, Patient Financial Services, and Information Technology to embed revenue integrity requirements into operational and technical workflows. This includes supporting system design, automation, analytics, and controls to safeguard revenue, reduce variability, mitigate compliance risk, and support transparent and sustainable reimbursement practices. The Revenue Management Department serves as a strategic liaison between operational and technical teams and plays a critical role in enterprise revenue performance, regulatory readiness, and system-wide initiatives.

Required Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field such as, Business, Management, or Health Administration; or equivalent experience
  • Ten (10) years of experience in hospital and professional revenue cycle leadership, charge description master maintenance, clinical charge capture, coding, government/third-party reimbursement, or similar healthcare experience
  • Possession of 1 or more of the following certifications:
  • CPAM – Certified Professional in Ambulatory Management (MGMA)
  • CHRI – Certified Healthcare Revenue Integrity (AAPC)
  • CHC – Certified in Healthcare Compliance (HCCA)
  • CPC – Certified Professional Coder (AAPC)
  • CCS – Certified Coding Specialist (AHIMA)
  • Experience in managing and/or developing charge description master, fee schedules, and charge capture processes, policies, and/or procedures
  • Practical experience using hospital information systems, Epic preferred, and computer proficiency with PC applications (e.g. Microsoft Office)
  • Practical experience and knowledge of Current Procedural Terminology (CPT), Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS), and Revenue codes
  • In-depth knowledge of overall revenue cycle processes, specifically revenue integrity, including industry trends
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferable within a medical facility or health system
  • Knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, requirements, standards and practices pertaining to patient confidentiality and information management
  • Demonstrated analytical and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated professional interpersonal and communication skills

How You Will Contribute:

The Outpatient Executive Director is responsible for overseeing the quality of clinical care, the appropriateness of clinical programming and ensuring the day-to-day clinical operations at the Clearview Outpatient Program are performed effectively. The Outpatient Program Director is responsible for overseeing individual and group therapeutic services and providing clinical supervision to Therapists. The Outpatient Executive Director collaborates with the CEO for the overall administration of outpatient services, including case assignment, scheduling, regulatory and compliance.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical supervision to clinicians in both individual and group settings, offering guidance and feedback to motivate and positively develop the clinical team.
  • Provides clinical leadership and supervision for DBT within the Outpatient Program.
  • Actively engages with clinicians, leading in person and virtual clinical programming.
  • Works closely with the clinical and customer service teams to ensure a therapeutic environment is maintained, appropriate treatment planning, and discharge management.
  • Collaborates with the revenue cycle team, utilization review and compliance to ensure the financial success of the program and compliance with managed care requirements.
  • Acts as a clinical backup, conducting individual and group therapy sessions if necessary.
  • Ensures compliance with state and Joint Commission and state accreditation standards and provides oversight to other staff to maintain their compliance.
  • Coordinates client care with the treatment team, family and clients; implements discharge planning.
  • Communicates with referral sources and families, keeping them informed of treatment goals, plans and progress.
  • Coordinates clinical staff schedules and clinical group schedules.
  • Assigns new clients to therapist caseloads.
  • Works with office manager and revenue cycle team to ensure accurate attendance for billing.
  • Provides direct supervision, coaching and clear instruction of workload assignments to clinical staff and interns resulting in effective and efficient daily operations by providing effective services that meet the special needs of the clients in the program.
  • Identifies opportunities for and encourages professional development for clinical team.
  • Acts as on call designee for emergencies or assigns on call designee when personally unavailable.
  • Escalates risk exposure and/or customer service concerns, as necessary.
  • Assists with difficult or emotional client situations, responds promptly to client needs, solicits feedback for continuous quality improvement.

What We Are Seeking

Requires a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling or other related fields, and a minimum of five years’ experience working with an mental health population which preferable would include young adults and adults in the mental health or education fields. Must have current license from the appropriate state, such as LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LMHC or Psychologist. Must be highly trained in DBT, preferably DBT certified.

Clearance of TB test, fingerprinting and state clearance, and any other mandatory state/federal requirements
