What You'll Do: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and assessments in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
Make critical diagnoses and treatment decisions, ensuring timely and effective interventions for a wide range of medical emergencies.
Perform essential emergency procedures, including suturing, laceration repair, airway management, and others as needed.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide treatment plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Prescribe medications and manage patient care plans effectively, coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and the healthcare team during high-stress situations.
Document medical records accurately and thoroughly to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
Who You Are: Board-certified in Emergency Medicine (BC/EM) or board-eligible for Emergency Medicine certification (preferred).
Physicians board-certified in Family Practice (BC/FP) or Internal Medicine (BC/IM) with extensive emergency department experience will also be considered.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
Active medical license in the state of Wisconsin (mandatory).
Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) license (required).

Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
