Geisinger’s GIM is located in the new Geisinger Multi-Specialty Clinic which offers immediate access to all ancillary services and robust sub-specialist support. This clinic provides services such as destination medicine, which is a consultative program, executive health, geriatric assessments, integrative medicine, and acute care clinic, in addition, to a conventional Internal Medicine practice.

Geisinger is seeking full-time Transplant Hepatologists for our expanding Hepatology practice in Central Pennsylvania.
The ideal candidate should be:
- Board-eligible/certified in Gastroenterology as well as Transplant Hepatology.
Or
- Board-eligible/certified in Hepatology with experience in or a completed fellowship in Transplant Hepatology.
This provider will join a group of Hepatologists within the section of Hepatology in the Division of Gastroenterology. The Section of Hepatology constitutes three Transplant Hepatologists, two clinical pharmacists, nurse coordinators, and houses HCV PROVENCARE program. In addition, Gastroenterology is home to the Nutrition and Weight Management program which works closely with Hepatology in managing patients and running clinical trials for those with fatty liver disease.
The candidate must possess outstanding clinical, teaching, and interpersonal skills with a collegial attitude to work within a multidisciplinary group of physicians including transplant surgeons, oncologists, and interventional radiologists. This individual will devote most of his/her time to practicing General Hepatology and Transplant Hepatology. The clinical responsibilities include attending inpatient Hepatology Service, outpatient Hepatology Clinics and performing endoscopy. This candidate is expected to expand our liver transplant program. This candidate will be involved in patient selection committee, liver transplant clinic, and outreach. Since Geisinger Health System constitutes Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine, supports an outstanding GI fellowship program, and an internal medicine program, this candidate will be involved in teaching GI fellows, Internal Medicine residents and medical students. • Review modular residential and commercial construction plans
