  • Provide electrical technical in the research, design, development and sustainability of electronic circuits for medical devices. Ensure and maintain compliance to Corporate and Industry standards.

URGENTLY HIRING

Abella is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as care providers for individuals diagnosed with autism and potentially other developmental disabilities. We provide in-home services to children, teens, young adults, and sometimes older adults to support their cognitive, social, and behavioral development.
Role types:
Here are the roles we have available
  • Childcare provider: Provide in-home support to children or adults with developmental disabilities so parents and caregivers can take a break. This role focuses on giving families relief while ensuring the client is safe and cared for

  • Respite provider: Provide safe, reliable care for children with developmental disabilities while parents are at work, school, or handling daily responsibilities. This role focuses on child supervision and support during times when parents are unavailable.

Responsibilities:
- Provide structured play and engagement
- Accompany clients to parks and social activities
- Offer companionship and comfort
- Assist with hygiene, eating, and drinking
- Maintain a safe environment
- Complete basic chores
- Keep records
Requirements:
-Valid driver's license and ability to travel to homes in the East Bay area
- Willingness to provide care in various cities in California
- Ability to use personal cellphone for work
- 18 years or older
- Availability between 24 hours to 120 hours a month
- Pass criminal background and driving record check
- Complete training within 2 weeks
- Agree to job duties and responsibilities
- Lift 25 pounds
- Familiarity with Google Suite
Nice to haves:
- Experience in respite care or ABA
- Previous work with individuals with autism or disabilities
-Additional languages spoken (other than English)
- Degree or pursuing a degree in a related field preferred
- CPR or CPR/AED certification
