Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at Ascension St. Vincent (PMCH) has an opportunity for a BE/BC Pediatric Endocrinologist in Indianapolis, IN. This is an excellent opportunity that focuses on inpatient, outpatient, and new patient populations while consulting in the hospital and providing support to triage nurses and nurse practitioners when necessary. We are an established pediatric endocrinology program. While we are not a primary research clinic, we can support an applicant’s interests. Current subspecialty clinics include a pre-diabetes clinic, metabolic bone clinic and lipid clinic. There is always availability for anyone to explore their pediatric endocrinology interests. 

 

Practice Highlights:

 

  • Experienced physician staff and nurse practitioner support

  • Office hours are 8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

  • Opportunity to assist with lipid and/or prediabetes clinic

  • Average of 1-2 phone calls per night

  • Chest pain accreditation with 24/7 STEMI coverage, VAD accreditation, structural heart program, impella program, heart failure program, cardio-oncology, pulmonary hypertension.

Licensure & Certification

· American Board of Cardiology certification

· Indiana medical license will be required

Desired requirements

· Interest in growing an outpatient practice

· Interest in Cardiac MRI & advanced imaging would be a plus but not required

· Welcome multidisciplinary approach to patient care

· Excellent communication skills fostering collaboration with all members of care team

· Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians
