Position Overview

Belmont Village Aliso Viejo is seeking an experiencedlicensed nurse leader to serve as Director of Resident Care Services. This leadership role is the Director of Nursing equivalent and oversees clinical assessments, medication management, regulatory compliance, and the supervision of licensed nursing and care staff.
The Director of Resident Care Services partners closely with residents, families, and executive leadership to deliver individualized care plans while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and hospitality. YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for overall compliance of clinical services & programs including accuracy of medication administration
Works collaboratively and facilitates communication with physician offices, ancillary services, responsible parties and internal care teams to deliver quality resident care
Works efficiently to complete timely resident assessments and to develop and initiate the care and service plan
Supports and assists in day-to-day care and clinical needs as needed

Responsibilities
Surface Warfare Officers (SWOs) are involved in virtually every aspect of Navy missions. As a SWO, you may be in charge of any number of shipboard operations and activities while at sea, working with or within any of these specialized forces:
Aircraft Carrier Forces: Provide and coordinate air, submarine and surface ship defense for aircraft carriers.
Cruiser-Destroyer Forces: Provide ship attack and defensive measures with a wide array of missile and fire power capabilities, providing anti-air, -submarine and -surface warfare support.
Amphibious Forces: Embark and transport vehicles, equipment and personnel for amphibious assault operations.
Combat-Logistics Forces: Provide combatant ships with fuel, ammunition, food and supplies, and provide repair, maintenance and rescue capabilities through Fleet Support Ships.
Mine Warfare Forces: Detect, identify and neutralize threats from hostile use of maritime mines.

Work Environment
As a Surface Warfare Officer, you will work at sea and on shore, in a variety of environments. Sea duty could place you aboard ships within the fleet. Shore duty may involve a tour of duty at the Pentagon, a student assignment at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA, or command and management positions at shore bases and stations around the world.
Training & Advancement
Those pursuing an Information Professional Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School (OCS) in Newport, RI.
Unless they have already been commissioned through the Naval Academy or ROTC, those pursuing a Surface Warfare Officer position are required to attend Officer Candidate School. Newly commissioned SWOs can expect an advanced training process that includes comprehensive training at sea and ashore.
Newly commissioned Surface Warfare Officers will be assigned to a surface ship, leading a team of Sailors responsible for a component of the ship - anything from electronics to weapons to engineering systems. In this setting, Officers are working toward full Surface Warfare qualification.
After completing these initial sea tours, Surface Warfare Officers may be selected to serve on high-level staffs, commands or strategic projects or they may be selected to work in recruitment. The ultimate goal for many: to one day command their own ship.
Promotion opportunities are regularly available but competitive and based on performance.

Specialized training received and work experience gained in the course of service can lead to valuable credentialing and occupational opportunities in related fields in the civilian sector.

Responsibilities
The Boatswain's Mate (BM) has a rich history of honored traditions. As a BM, you will supervise the maintenance of your ship inside and out, in addition to a diverse roster of other responsibilities:
- Standing watch as lookout or Boatswain Mate of the Watch
- Repairing, maintaining and stowing equipment
- Training, directing and supervising ship's maintenance personnel
- Assisting as a search and rescue swimmer
- Operating sound-powered communication equipment
- Serving as a member of damage control, emergency and security alert teams
- Participating in Navy ceremonies
- Transferring supplies between ships while at sea
- Operating small boats, tugs, barges and other small craft
- Assisting with flight deck and amphibious operations
- Serving as flight deck crew during helicopter operations
- Supervising deck crew in cleaning, painting and maintaining the ship
- Directing boat crews in landing and rescue operations
- Teaching seamanship
Work Environment
Boatswain's Mates serve primarily on ships and can expect to travel the world over. Your responsibilities are performed mostly outdoors and you can expect work of a physical nature. You will not spend your entire career at sea, you may work in a variety of different environments when you're stationed on shore.
Training & Advancement
Upon completion of initial training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (known as Boot Camp), you'll report for specialized training, including:
Boatswain Mate "A" School (5 weeks) in Great Lakes, IL, for training in basic general safety, watch standing, deck seamanship, underway replenishment and preventive maintenance.
Following "A" School, there may be additional opportunities for training before receiving your first assignment, such as amphibious training. After all training is completed, you may be assigned to a fleet unit or a shore station.

Advanced Training
Advanced training as a Boatswain's Mate may also be available during later stages of your career. For those with further leadership aspirations and a college degree, Officer roles may be available, providing opportunities to lead and train others.

-Follow all ANSI/AAMI standards, manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFUs), SOPs, and company Work Instructions.-Decontaminate used surgical instruments and equipment using proper PPE and protocols.-Disassemble, clean, and reassemble complex surgical instruments as required.-Accurately assemble and package instrument trays and sets per guidelines.-Operate washers, sterilizers, and other processing equipment safely and effectively.-Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage prior to packaging.-Document missing or damaged instruments per SOPs.-Maintain accurate and timely records of sterilization cycles, instrument tracking, and inventory levels.-Handle all instruments and customer-owned items with care to prevent damage.

Required Skills & Experience:
-Two (2) years of hands-on experience in sterile processing, demonstrating proficiency in decontamination, assembly, and sterilization procedures.-Strong attention to detail.-Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.-General knowledge of surgical instruments and processing protocols.-Knowledge of sterilization techniques, including steam sterilization and infection control practices.-Familiarity with ANSI/AAMI standards and manufacturer Instructions for Use (IFUs).-Skill in operating washer disinfectors, autoclaves, and other related equipment.

Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our team on-site in Pismo Beach. In this role, you will act as a key provider of comprehensive primary care. You will manage a diverse patient panel, performing everything from routine physicals to complex chronic disease management.
You will work collaboratively with our lead physician and support staff to develop individualized treatment plans, ensuring that every patient receives continuity of care. Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Conduct comprehensive physical exams, diagnose acute and chronic illnesses, and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Diagnostics: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory work, X-rays, and EKGs.
- Specialized Services: Provide care across the lifespan, including pediatric milestones, adult wellness, and geriatric health management.
- Preventative Medicine: Counsel patients on preventative health, screenings, vaccinations, and lifestyle modifications.

Qualifications
- Education: Master’s degree from an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Licensure: Active Physician Assistant licensure in the state of California (or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date).
- Certification: Current NCCPA Board Certification.
- DEA: Valid DEA registration and NPI number.
- Clinical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a wide range of primary care conditions.

This is a full-time, outpatient position within a rapidly growing specialty service dedicated exclusively to skin cancer diagnosis, surveillance, and management.

Qualifications:
- Has prior dermatology experience
- Is competent and confident in dermoscopy (preferred requirement); training will be offered from leading dermscopy expert to upscale the skill
- Thrives in a focused specialty environment rather than general or cosmetic dermatology
- Values patient continuity and the opportunity to build long-term, meaningful relationships
- Appreciates working with autonomy while supported by a highly collaborative team
- Graduate from a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program, evidence of satisfactory performance and completion of proctoring requirements
- Current license in good standing to practice as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the state of California
- Current and active DEA licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent communication skills and interest in working in a collaborative / team-oriented environment are a must.
