Responsibilities:
List up to 10 main responsibilities for the job. Include information about the accountability and scope.
* Serve on project technical team, consisting of cross-functional resources including but not limited to R&D, PDS&T, Quality, Biocompatibility, and Regulatory.
* Partner with R&D to identify user and technical product requirements for a medical device product.
* With Technical Lead, Develop Design Verification & Validation strategy.
o Support Design Verification (planning, fixture development, method development, test method validation, protocol development, and test execution).
* Drive the creation and execution of protocols and reports.
* Manage Design History File content.
* Participate in prototyping activities to transform concepts into functional devices.
* Perform laboratory testing, including independently designed experiments to further project goals.
* Conduct statistical analyses using software such as MiniTab or JMP to evaluate data and support design decisions.
* Ensure compliance with company and industry standards regarding safety, quality, and regulatory policies (including GxP).
Qualifications:
List required and preferred qualifications (up to 10). Include education, skills and experience.
* Experience with new product development, including defining user and technical product requirements.
* Experience with Design controls, including Design Verification & Validation strategy development and execution.
* Experience with laboratory testing as well as subsequent data analysis using statistical methods.
* Experience with medical device regulatory submissions.
* Experience with biological-based products preferred.
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education with 5 or more years of experience or Master's degree or equivalent education with 3 or more years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Draft electrical, software, computer, business method, and mechanical patent applications.
- Draft responses to patent application office actions.
- Research and prepare opinions related to patentability, patent validity, freedom to operate and infringement.
- Docketing via DocketTrak docketing system.
· Electronic filing of IP cases via the USPTO's EFS-WEB online filing system.
· Preparation of patent filings.
· Preparation and transmission of form cover letters.
- Assist with IP-related agreements and transactions.
- Assist in other legal matters as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- A technical degree, preferably in electrical engineering, computer science, or an equivalent degree.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A strong attention to detail.
- Ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues.
- Knowledge and command of U.S. Patent Office procedures.
- Experience with DocketTrak docketing software preferred but not required.
- Experience with EFS-WEB online filing system preferred.
- One – three years patent attorney experience but willing to train the right candidate; including 3 year law students with immediate availability.
- DETAIL-ORIENTED.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.

Required Experience
Experience configuring or supporting biotech/pharma manufacturing equipment.

The company provides installation, repair, and maintenance services for both residential and commercial customers. This role leads a 25+ person team—including technicians, field supervisors, customer service, and sales—and supports dozens of active service calls and projects at any given time.
Role Summary
The General Manager will take operational ownership of a fast-growing service organization known for responsiveness, technical expertise, and high-quality workmanship. You will align people, systems, financial goals, and customer service expectations to drive growth, operational efficiency, and long-term profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance with a focus on revenue, margins & net income
- Oversee fleet, tools, inventory, and HVAC/plumbing equipment acquisition, utilization, and maintenance
- Manage and develop service managers, dispatch, customer service, install crews, and plumbing/HVAC division leads
- Strengthen lead generation, scheduling, estimating, proposal workflows, and project intake processes
