This high-energy 32-bed unit is in the critical care service line, which serves patients transitioning out of Intensive Care and/or patients requiring a higher level of care. Our higher acuity population is primarily comprised of neurological, medical, and surgical patients. With our neurological specialty, we are a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center program. 

Qualifications: 

• Required Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited school 

• Preferred Education: Prefer BSN but ADN is acceptable 

• License: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Critical Care Registered Nurses are accountable for the provision of nursing care of assigned patients in all phases of care in the ICU. We are high-paced, high-energy unit specializing in Obstetrics and Mother Baby, Well Newborn Care along Post Women’s Surgical unit.

Within our unit we have:

• 40-MB rooms

• 15-LDR rooms 

• 14-High Risk Antepartum

• 8-bed OBED unit

• 4-LIBC Birthing Suites

• 4-Pre Post Rooms 

• 3-OR suites (where we circulate all of our own cases)
