UPMC Altoona Total Joint Orthopedic Opportunity
UPMC Altoona Elite Orthopaedics is recruiting a Total Joint Arthroplasty Orthopedic Surgeon to step into a fully established practice with high volume patient base. The practice cares for patients referred from 70+ primary care physicians and the Hospital's emergency and trauma departments. Must have an MD or equivalent, be BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.
Opportunity Details
- Join an established busy joint practice with a wait list greater than 6 months.
- Current orthopaedic surgeons include a trauma/fracture surgeon, a foot and ankle surgeon, a sports medicine surgeon, a hand and upper extremity surgeon, a total joints specialist and a podiatrist.

UPMC Altoona is currently seeking a Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join our UPMC Hillman Cancer Team! We are seeking physicians with excellent clinical skills, interested in delivering high quality care and participating in numerous clinical trials available throughout the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center network. Successful candidates should have or be able to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license and be board certified/board eligible in Medical Oncology and/or Hematology. Candidates requiring a J-1 visa waiver or H-1B sponsorship following a J-1 waiver are welcome to apply. Salary and benefits are highly competitive and commensurate with experience.
The candidate will join as the fourth physician in a busy medical oncology practice in a spacious, new center on the UPMC Altoona hospital campus, offering the latest medical oncology treatments and clinical trials. Work with an experienced team of medical oncologists/hematologists, advance practice providers, specialized oncology nurses, lab, pharmacy and support staff. The UPMC Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking highly talented cardiothoracic anesthesiologists to provide anesthesia care at UPMC Altoona. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in anesthesiology, be fellowship-trained in cardiac anesthesiology, and possess or qualify for an unrestricted medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

- Schedule: daylight coverage, M-F 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM
- Call: All days - beeper call 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- CRNA supervision, 2.75:1 concurrency target
- Hospital has 13 anesthesiologists and 31 CRNAs
