Great opportunity for a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) to join a well-respected healthcare facility in Northeastern CT about 1hr from Hartford, CT, 45 mins from Providence, RI and 30 mins to Worcester, MA
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Full-time, approximately 40 hours a week (5 x 8hrs shifts a week)
- Shifts are 8-hour days shifts (7a-3p or 12p-8p, will be working both)
- No block scheduling; approximately 20-21 shifts per month
- Will work at least one weekend a month (Will have days off during the week if working the weekend)
- Typically see approx. 12 patients in an 8-hour shift
- It will be a mix of rounding and admissions
- Will be seeing ages 16+
- Open ICU. Hospitalist admit patients to the ICU.
- No procedures are required
- Seeking candidates with at least 2-3 years Hospitalist NP/PA experience
- Hospitalists will attend to codes and rapid response to the floor but not to the ED
- The facility has Cardiology, GI, Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology on Call.
